Elitism is something you can't escape in a competitive game.
There are people who want to play on a high level, and they are naturally drawn to other people who want to play on a high level, essentially forming "power bubbles" within the gaming community, which grow ever bigger.
That's why these games aren't eternal, they have a natural lifespan. The end is inevitable (cheesy quote ftw). The only thing you can do to prevent it is change the game thoroughly every now and then (like PA) - and even then the old game essentially dies.
Why is this viewed as so negative and difficult to accept? It isn't the end of the world.
I witnessed several games reach the state that Planetia is in now (and I'm not the only one that has). It's pretty much the same story repeating itself over and over. As for my two cents, those that have the enthusiasm, time, energy and knowledge should invest their efforts into something new of their own.

Mnie się ten pomysł bardzo podoba, u mnie najczęściej jest właśnie tak, że lista ulubionych płyt jest pod koniec roku wybrakowana a tą naprawdę NAJ odszukuję długo po czasie. I tak było w tym roku - dzięki portalowi usłyszałem Gridlock "Formless" i na długo wyparła z odtwarzacza wszystkie inne.
Pomyślałem też że moglibyśmy pobawić się trochę inaczej, np. powtórzyć głosowanie na płytę roku 2006 Przez ubiegły rok każdy z nas usłyszał trochę płyt, na które głosowali inni, nabrał dystansu do niektórych swoich typów, może ciekawe byłoby porównanie rezultatów które dzieliłoby 12 miesięcy
Też dobry pomysł, rzeczywiście teraz moje typy różniłyby się od tych, które pierwotnie zapodałem w zestawieniu A.D. 2006.
To jak, wystawiamy albumy, których słuchaliśmy najczęściej w 2007 roku, a które pochodzą z innych lat? Pozwolę sobie zacząć, ograniczając się do 20 płyt (a i tak jest to spore ograniczenie). Temat: Time for a thermostat change..this is how you do it
If your car is over 10 years old, or you are having problems with your car overheating or not warming up properly, it is a good idea to change your thermostat
The job of the thermostat is to block the flow of coolant to the radiator until the engine has warmed up. When the engine is cold, no coolant flows through the engine. Once the engine reaches its operating temperature, the thermostat opens.
The tools you will need are:
* Some instant gasket for the drain bolt
* A 17mm socket
* 12mm and 10mm sockets
* A flat head screwdriver
* A large bucket or something to drain coolant into
* New Coolant
* Thermostat: Part Number TT242-180
* Thermostat gasket Part Number: TTG35
First, look under your radiator and to the left (when looking from the front), there's a bung you need to unscrew to drain the radiator, put the bucket underneath. Also take off the radiator cap to help it drain
The next thing is to remove the drain bolt from the block. (pic to the right) It will be 17mm and pretty tight if it was torqued properly last time. Use a breaker bar extension if you need to.
The coolant will come out in a rush so make sure you have the bucket in the right place.
Next, remove the coolant reservoir by pulling straight up, empty it in the bucket and give it a clean out because if it's like mine it will be full of crud.
Now remove the radiator hoses from the thermostat housing and then the housing itself by removing the two bolts. The housing will need a clean to help it mate with the new gasket properly.
Now you need to put the new thermostat and gasket in, make sure the gasket is on the thermostat securely making sure you line up the dimples on it with the holes on the thermostat housing.
As you replace the housing and bolt it up, make sure it is aligned properly or there will be a leak, the gasket will make it fit snugly.
After tightening the bolts on the thermostat housing, you will need to reconnect the radiator hoses and replace the coolant reservoir.
Make sure you replace both the radiator bung and the one in the block, put some instant gasket on the thread of the bung in the block.
Now is a good time to do a complete coolant replacement also. Depending on the mix you may have to add water in a 50:50 ratio. Read the instructions!
Fill the coolant to the top and fill the coolant reservoir to the upper mark, replace the radiator cap.
To bleed the coolant (get all the air bubbles out of the system) you need to loosen the 10mm bleed bolt as shown at the very top right of the top picture. With this loosened, start the engine and let it idle. Coolant will flow slowly out from around the bolt, retighten the bolt once you no longer see any air bubbles coming out. Look closely as this may take a while.
Once finished, take a while to double check everything to see that there are no leaks. Keep your eye on the temperature gauge and coolant reservoir for the next few days. Depending on your car you may have to remove more things to reach the bolts, or you may not have a bleed bolt because some on some Hondas you only have to remove the radiator cap to bleed the system. This is not the case for the B16A.

W moim podsumowaniu przedstawię pierwszą setkę w pięciu odsłonach po 20 utworów [no, może najwyższą dwudziestkę podzielę jeszcze na dwie części ].
Jest ono trochę kulawe, bo nie obejmuje pełnych 52 tygodni, a jedynie 48 - czyli tyle, ile działa moja lista. Ale za to jest to pierwsze podsumowanie roczne . I tylko punkty. Za to nie będzie typowego podsumowania 50 notowań, ale wtedy zamieszczę inne wyliczenia dotyczące wykonawców, ruchów na liście itd.
W tym poście dodatkowo jeszcze wszystkie utwory, które nie załapały się do najwyższej setki.
Na czerwono te, które jeszcze są na liście i mogą punktować [do topu wszech czasów].

Tak tak, czasu coraz mniej, stres coraz większy, a muzyka łagodzi chyba nie tylko obyczaje . Czasem jednak coś potęguje. Tuż za 30 piosenka, która byłaby wyżej, gdyby nieformalne pożegnanie z ostatnimi dwoma latami odbywało sie trochę wcześniej niż wczoraj. Ale na wczoraj nadawała się znakomicie [zwłaszcza wersja koncertowa], a nadchodzący tydzień da jej jeszcze trochę szans na wykazanie się, więc pewnie będzie to widać. Na pokazanie nerwów wolę nie znajdować żadnych piosenek . Wyjątkowo tym razem przed właściwym notowaniem wrzucam to, co sie znajduje tuż za nim [różnice w większości przypadków bardzo niewielkie], bo jest tego wyjątkowo dużo... Część pewnie nie da rady się dostać, a chciałam je jakoś wyróżnić . To pewnie też zabiera trochę niespodzianek na przyszłość, no ale trudno.
O wypadkach nie chcę nic pisać, bo brak mi słów na to, co tam się wydarzyło.
A w nowościach różna stylistyka. Jedna z nich pewnie zaskoczy [i pewnie niektórych niekoniecznie pozytywnie ] no ale po prostu pasuje mi teraz, jest lekka i odstresowująca i dziś mi się zwyczajnie podoba.
A z Brucem Springsteenem to się nieźle w zeszłym tygodniu wpasowałam - wcale nie wiedziałam, że to właśnie wychodzi jako singiel . No ale skoro wychodzi, to może całkiem niechcący czegoś dokona na Forumowej, a tak to pewnie tylko u mnie by się pojawił.
No mam nadzieję, że kondycję mam na tyle pewną, by dotrwać do końca tego meczu i zakończyc go z wynikiem 2:0 dla mnie. Panie Sędzio, proszę w razie czego przedłużyć o więcej niż 3 minuty i posłuchać sobie w tym czasie piosenki z miejsca 2... albo z miejsca 1 ale od końca do początku .
