Właśnie z tego powodu za nim nie przepadam, kiedyś go wypróbowałam i co? Nawet nie można było nawet zapisać projektu. Whatever.

1,5 kg kosztuje ok. 27 zł, 3 kg - ok. 45 zł, co przy zalecanym
dawkowaniu naprawdę nie wychodzi drogo. Tak to jest z tymi mało

3. Catholisism. Throuhgout Poland over one millenium of statehood, it
depended on Catholic Church as the unifing force, and it proved to guard
against inside and outside oppressors. This explains the disconection between
predominantly protestant Western Europe and Catholic Poland.
While the christianity and Catholic Church before reformantion was the cause
of wars, and became an oppresson of its population in Western Europe, in
Poland the Catholic Churc was quite the oposite. If you consider that lone
fact, you not wonder anymore why is Poish population so predominantly
Catholic, and following Western Europe in liberal tendences.

Kwasniewski was in office, he was 'socially acceptable' to his fellow neo-cons
due to his non-religious beliefs, support for for anything provocative, and he

rozważaną. Właściwie to wszędzie jest. Trzeba tylko popytać. Czasem mają próbki
za darmo i dają przy zakupie jeszcze innych produktów.

All said, I agree with chaladia. Sudan's problem will be taken seriously when
some substancial amount of oil iss speculated underneath. Somehow, this is
coming to light because canadians have dug out 9 oil wells with a daily
production of 25% nigeria's volume. As we currently speak, it holds third
position in Oil production after Nigeria and Namimbia.
Americans, as stated openly by their president over her history gets into a
situation for American interests. It's a known fact. WHy Iraq and not Iran or

UN and multinational efforts to curb nulcear proliferation? No oil , I am
afraid. But I like that. They put their reasons and motives clear. They just

In the Clinton administration, the three most senior State Department

The link between active promoters of Israeli interests and policymaking
circles is stronger by several orders of magnitude in the Bush
administration, which is peppered with people who have long records of
activism on behalf of Israel in the United States, of policy advocacy in
Israel, and of promoting an agenda for Israel often at odds with existing
U.S. policy. These people, who can fairly be called Israeli loyalists, are
now at all levels of government, from desk officers at the Defense Department

We still tiptoe around putting a name to this phenomenon. We write articles
about the neo-conservatives' agenda on U.S.-Israeli relations and imply that

The creation of the Or Commission inquiry into the deaths in October 2000, soon
after the start of the Palestinian uprising for independence in the West Bank

After nearly three years of testimony, the commission found that police
commanders committed errors of judgment when their forces opened fire on stone-
throwing Arab demonstrators in Israel's northern Galilee region.

from prejudice against Arabs and recommended the dismissal of several top
officers and that others no longer be allowed to hold senior security posts.

SECRETARY POWELL: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I'm sorry we're running
late. We have had an excellent set of discussions, which ran over because they
were so comprehensive.
It's a pleasure to once again meet with my colleague from Beijing. This is one
of several times we have met in recent months. And we covered the full range of
issues that affect the relationship between our two countries. Especially, we
talked about, as you might expect, the President's upcoming visit to Shanghai
and Beijing. We also discussed counter-terrorism activity in light of the
recent events here in Washington and New York.
The Minister told me a very moving story about a Chinese family who had come to
visit their children here in this country, and were killed in the plane that
crashed into the Pentagon. And he met with those children yesterday. And it
just shows how this is an international crisis. And it all has to do with the
loss of innocent humanity. And so we agreed to cooperate in this campaign
against terrorism.
I won't cover all the different issues. The Minister may wish to talk about one
or two more. In the interests of time, I am anxious to get the Minister over to
the White House for his meeting with Dr. Rice and with the President.
Mr. Minister, it is a great pleasure again to welcome you here in the United
States.
FOREIGN MINISTER TANG: (As translated.) Ladies and gentlemen, today my talks
with Secretary Powell were useful, constructive and successful. Our talks
covered many issues, many of which the Secretary has already briefly touched
upon.
For my part, I would like to emphasize the following two points. Firstly, both
sides agree that the upcoming visit by President Bush to China and the
important meetings between the two presidents will exert a significant and far-
reaching impact on China-US relations. The Chinese side believes that the
President's visit and his meeting between top leaders will make contributions
to continue the long-term development of our relations in a normal,
constructive, and healthy fashion, as well as continued improvement of our
relations in the future.
Secondly, both sides have already started our cooperation on the anti-terrorism
field, and such cooperation will continue into the future. Our attitude on the
question of terrorism has always been clear-cut and consistent. We firmly
oppose and strongly condemn all forms of terrorism in all their evil acts, and
both sides agree to carry out even better cooperation on this question in the
future.

SECRETARY POWELL: The Minister has to leave for the White House. I'll come back
for just a moment, if you want me to.
QUESTION: Mr. Secretary, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman earlier this
week made some statements that seem to indicate that China was looking for a
quid pro quo, their support for the anti-terrorist activity in exchange for
some sort of agreement on Taiwan where America's support would diminish
somewhat.
Did that come up in the talks at all?
SECRETARY POWELL: No, there was no suggestion of a quid pro quo. In fact, both
sides recognize that this is a threat to both countries. They have their
terrorism problems, and there are terrorism problems here in the United States.
So there was absolutely no discussion of a quid pro quo.
QUESTION: Mr. Secretary, how can China be especially helpful to the United
States, given its geography?
SECRETARY POWELL: It has influence in that region. It has knowledge and
information. It has intelligence that might be of help to us. And our counter-
terrorism experts will be getting together next week to explore every way in
which the two sides can cooperate.
QUESTION: Secretary Powell, could I ask you about Iran? As you know, the
British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw is going to be in Iran, I believe today.
You have had conversations in the last days with your British colleagues. What
message have you asked the British to pass on or what message would you like
them to pass on

recently (October 2002) accused Syria of having a nuclear program, so that they

warheads, some of which are thermonuclear weapons (according to a recent U.S.
Air Force report).
David Wurmser
Special Assistant to John Bolton (above), the under-secretary for arms control
and international security. Wurmser also worked at the AEI with Perle and
Bolton. His wife, Meyrav Wurmser, along with Colonel Yigal Carmon, formerly of
Israeli military intelligence, co-founded the Middle East Media Research
Institute (Memri),a Washington-based Israeli outfit which distributes articles
translated from Arabic newspapers portraying Arabs in a bad light.
Eliot Cohen
Member of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board under Perle and is another
extremist pro-Israel advisor. Like Adelman, he often expresses extremist and
often ridiculus anti-Arab and anti-Muslim views. More recently, he wrote an
opinion article in the Wall Street Journal openly admitting his rascist hatred
of Islam claiming that Islam should be the enemy, not terrorism.
Mel Sembler
President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. A Prominent Jewish
Republican and Former National Finance Chairman of the Republican National
Committee. The Export-Import Bank facilitates trade relationships between U.S.
businesses and foreign countries, specifically those with financial problems.
Michael Chertoff
Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, at the Justice Department.
Steve Goldsmith
Senior Advisor to the President, and Bush's Jewish domestic policy advisor. He
also serves as liaison in the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community
Initiatives (White House OFBCI) within the Executive Office of the President. He
was the former mayor of Indianapolis. He is also friends with Israeli Jerusalem
Mayor Ehud Olmert and often visits Israel to coach mayors on privatization
initiatives.

What is the explanation for the special relations that have
developed between Poland and Israel in the past two decades, which
have reached a new peak under the Kaczynski brothers? Conversations
with a series of senior officials, journalists and observers in
Warsaw and Jerusalem reveal the following reasons:
1) The historical-moral consideration: Even if the Poles are not
responsible for the Holocaust, they cannot evade the fact that it
was perpetrated largely on Polish soil, and certainly not the fact
that Poles were indeed responsible for dark events such as the
massacres at Jedwabne (1941) and Kielce (1946).
The state anti-Semitism which, under the communist regime, led to
the expulsion of tens of thousands of Jews in 1956 and 1968, is
particularly upsetting to the Kaczynskis, because a number of their
good friends had to leave Poland under those edicts.
2) New global image: Poland as a land of persecution and pogroms, as
a nation of murderers and collaborators, as a graveyard of the
Jewish people - the Poles want to shake off these harsh stereotypes,
which have been haunting them since the war.
"A thousand years of common Polish-Jewish history is no small
thing," says a senior figure in Warsaw.
"On the eve of the war the Jewish community of Poland was the
largest in Europe. You know, one cannot claim that as anti-Semites
we allowed this coexistence for masochistic reasons," the source
continued.
The Jerusalem alibi
The Poles need the alibi of Jerusalem and promise to be its advocate
in the international community - which, as described by a senior
Polish figure, is "a hypocritical community that stereotypes a
threatened Israel as a 'villainous aggressor,' in an unjustified
way."
What's happening here in essence is a "laundering" deal: You launder
me and I will launder you.
3) Eradication of anti-Semitism: Israeli diplomats in Poland
describe the anti-Semitism there as "lite," as not being marked by
violence. Still, the popularity of Radio Maryja and the election ad
of the Polish League of Families show that in the Kaczynskis'
Poland, there are, after all, clients of anti-Semitic propaganda.
The Poles believe that an increased presence of Israelis in their
country will help them overcome this: It will dissipate Polish fears
of property claims. And perhaps more interestingly, it will help
eliminate the prejudices that focus on the image of the familiar
shtetl Jew, "the ultra-Orthodox figure dressed in black and wearing
a shtreimel, which in your country can be found mainly in Mea
Shearim," says a senior Polish official. In other words, come in
your masses, prove to us that you don't have horns and so help
eradicate anti-Semitism.
4) Attracting investors: Both sides talk about "complementary
economies" in which the one exports what the other wants to import.
Poland is interested mainly in Israeli high-tech and scientific know-
how, however it is also pleased with recent, large-scale Israeli
investments in real estate, and of course with the growing security
and intelligence cooperation, which it needs in the light of its
military involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.
5) Anti-communism and anti-Islam: Poland wants to free itself of its
communist heritage, including its traditional pro-Arab policy. With
no colonial past, it is also unburdened by moral debts to the Arab
world.
A senior Polish official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, takes
this notion farther: "Western civilization must protect itself from
the rising status of the Muslim communities on the continent."
6) America, America: After a visit to Poland, veteran New York Times
journalist Thomas Friedman approvingly quoted Michael Mandelbaum, a
foreign affairs expert, who described it as "the most pro-American
country in the world - including the United States."

A Review and a Rebuttal to Seth, May 13, 2004

I have perused most of the book but have yet to read the whole of it, from page 1 to the end. A few things stand out.
The most important to me is the author's use of separate mini stories that tell different tales from the normal, all history text about the history pre Warsaw '44, during the rising and post '44 - the soviet repression. And so we might find out what a german soldier felt about a particular incident and about the poles. These add tremendously to the narrative and help bring the era to life - it literally "breaths life" into a solid historical book.
The second thing is that the author seems to like poles and their world view and seems to be full of admiration of their courage and determination. Also we feel the loss of the poles freedom after the soviet "liberation" which takes space of a good section of the book.
To sum up my little review, I found the book very informative, and this should bring to the western readers the history of this tragic happening.
Now comes the unpleasant part - my rebuttal to Mr Frantzman.
This is of course not part of the review, just my internal anger at this arrogant man, who I hope does not represent the Jewish population attitude in the US as a whole. I certainly hope NOT.

This is not true - there is mention of the ghetto uprising in '43. Also, the title of the book is Rising '44 - not '43.

There is a definite pro polish view to this book, it strives to put poles in a very favorable light. However, the examples that the author uses DO show poles in a favorable light. It is hard to portray poles as anything but unheroic and patriotic when a city erupts in rebellion against Nazi depravity. Can I make a criticism of a book about Jewish rising in '43 that it does not bring enough information to portray the Jews as anything other than heroic?
"So while this book fills an essential gap in history it is by no means a full history of the resistance of the Poles to the Nazi occupation."
Correct - there was much more suffering and dying, but the book's focus is on the uprising in '44.... Hence the title

Of course in the West the history books only teach the kids about ONE uprising - the one in '43. Also that the poles collaborated (sic) with the Germans in rounding up Jews into polish (sic) concentration camps. Books such as this show how patenly offensive such a false view is. It is not only the Jews who suffered in GERMAN occupation of Poland. I leave the readers (and I hope Seth reads this also) with the following:

The Srebrenica report reveals the Pentagon's role in a
dirty war

The official Dutch inquiry into the 1995 Srebrenica
massacre, released last week,
contains one of the most sensational reports on western
intelligence ever
published. Officials have been staggered by its
findings and the Dutch
government has resigned. One of its many volumes is
devoted to clandestine
activities during the Bosnian war of the early 1990s.
For five years, Professor
Cees Wiebes of Amsterdam University has had
unrestricted access to Dutch
intelligence files and has stalked the corridors of
secret service headquarters in
western capitals, as well as in Bosnia, asking
questions.
His findings are set out in "Intelligence and the war
in Bosnia, 1992-1995". It
includes remarkable material on covert operations,
signals interception, human
agents and double-crossing by dozens of agencies in one
of dirtiest wars of the
new world disorder. Now we have the full story of the
secret alliance between
the Pentagon and radical Islamist groups from the
Middle East designed to
assist the Bosnian Muslims - some of the same groups
that the Pentagon is
now fighting in "the war against terrorism". Pentagon
operations in Bosnia have
delivered their own "blowback".
In the 1980s Washington's secret services had assisted
Saddam Hussein in his
war against Iran. Then, in 1990, the US fought him in
the Gulf. In both
Afghanistan and the Gulf, the Pentagon had incurred
debts to Islamist groups
and their Middle Eastern sponsors. By 1993 these
groups, many supported by
Iran and Saudi Arabia, were anxious to help Bosnian
Muslims fighting in the
former Yugoslavia and called in their debts with the
Americans. Bill Clinton and
the Pentagon were keen to be seen as creditworthy and
repaid in the form of an
Iran-Contra style operation - in flagrant violation of
the UN security council
arms embargo against all combatants in the former
Yugoslavia.
The result was a vast secret conduit of weapons
smuggling though Croatia. This
was arranged by the clandestine agencies of the US,
Turkey and Iran, together
with a range of radical Islamist groups, including
Afghan mojahedin and the
pro-Iranian Hizbullah. Wiebes reveals that the British
intelligence services
obtained documents early on in the Bosnian war proving
that Iran was making
direct deliveries.
Arms purchased by Iran and Turkey with the financial
backing of Saudi Arabia
made their way by night from the Middle East. Initially
aircraft from Iran Air were
used, but as the volume increased they were joined by a
mysterious fleet of black
C-130 Hercules aircraft. The report stresses that the
US was "very closely
involved" in the airlift. Mojahedin fighters were also
flown in, but they were
reserved as shock troops for especially hazardous
operations.
Light weapons are the familiar currency of secret
services seeking to influence
such conflicts. The volume of weapons flown into
Croatia was enormous, partly
because of a steep Croatian "transit tax". Croatian
forces creamed off between
20% and 50% of the arms. The report stresses that this
entire trade was clearly
illicit. The Croats themselves also obtained massive
quantities of illegal weapons
from Germany, Belgium and Argentina - again in
contravention of the UN arms
embargo. The German secret services were fully aware of
the trade.
Rather than the CIA, the Pentagon's own secret service
was the hidden force
behind these operations. The UN protection force,
UNPROFOR, was dependent
on its troop-contributing nations for intelligence, and
above all on the
sophisticated monitoring capabilities of the US to
police the arms embargo. This
gave the Pentagon the ability to manipulate the embargo
at will: ensuring that
American Awacs aircraft covered crucial areas and were
able to turn a blind eye
to the frequent nightime comings and goings at Tuzla.
Weapons flown in during the spring of 1995 were to turn
up only a fortnight
